With spring bringing longer days and warmer weather, I am excited to spend more time outdoors! The seasons of spring and summer also bring many events to downtown Glasgow and surrounding areas. I want to highlight some of these activities so you can plan your trip accordingly! Vietnam Veteran Ceremony The South Central Kentucky Cultural Center will honor local veterans from the Vietnam era on Saturday, April 26. This includes veterans who served between 1955-1975 from the following counties: Allen, Barren, Hart, Metcalfe and Monroe. The event is from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. There will be an opening ceremony, stories from veterans, patriotic music and a special Vietnam exhibit on the 2nd floor gallery of the cultural center.
